We have a permanent Maintenance Lead Engineer role available at TATA Steel's site in Lisburn. This role is ideal for someone with leadership skills and a strong electrical engineering background, looking to make a real impact within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage a small engineering team, overseeing breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, and process improvements.
Ensure the maintenance of all process and auxiliary equipment, focusing on improving uptime and reducing costs.
Record and report maintenance activities using appropriate IT systems.

Essential Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade (ideally through an apprenticeship).
Proven experience in leadership within a service centre or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and contractor management.
Excellent leadership, communication, organisational skills, and IT literacy.
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Electrical maintenance experience within a heavy industrial environment.

Flexibility, a desire to learn, and adapt to new equipment.
