We are partnered with a leading engineering & construction contractor with a reputation in delivering world-class projects acrossdiverse range of industries dedicated to ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability. Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer with expertise in pharmaceutical projects. As a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems with a solid understanding of pharmaceutical construction, effective problem-solving, and good collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and reliable mechanical and electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Develop and evaluate mechanical and electrical designs to optimise performance and efficiency.

  • Ensure mechanical and electrical designs comply withregulations, standards, and environmental considerations.

  • Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of roles, responsibilities, and expectations, fostering clear communication and efficient workflow to achieve project objectives.

  • Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and technical documentation to relevant senior management.

  • Supervise mechanical and electrical construction/installation activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

  • Assess existing systems for capacity, reliability, and safety including resolving mechanical and electrical issues and providing technical guidance during project implementation.

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Degree/qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3 years of post-qualification experience is desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee the design and delivery of small-scale projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

  • Proficient in mechanical and electrical engineering software and tools with the ability to interpret designs, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation.

  • Effective problem-solving skills with ability to adapt to challenging project environments.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
