We are partnered with a leading engineering & construction contractor with a reputation in delivering world-class projects acrossdiverse range of industries dedicated to ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability. Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineer with expertise in pharmaceutical projects. As a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems with a solid understanding of pharmaceutical construction, effective problem-solving, and good collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and reliable mechanical and electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop and evaluate mechanical and electrical designs to optimise performance and efficiency.
Ensure mechanical and electrical designs comply withregulations, standards, and environmental considerations.
Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of roles, responsibilities, and expectations, fostering clear communication and efficient workflow to achieve project objectives.
Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and technical documentation to relevant senior management.
Supervise mechanical and electrical construction/installation activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
Assess existing systems for capacity, reliability, and safety including resolving mechanical and electrical issues and providing technical guidance during project implementation.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Degree/qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3 years of post-qualification experience is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to oversee the design and delivery of small-scale projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Proficient in mechanical and electrical engineering software and tools with the ability to interpret designs, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
Effective problem-solving skills with ability to adapt to challenging project environments.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
