This permanent role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled engineer to be part of an essential Electrical Verification team. The team is responsible for verifying and validating power systems through compatibility testing and power system analysis, ensuring the delivery of a high integrity electrical power system.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing and maintaining electrical requirements
  • Assisting the team in setup, execution, and analysis of test results
  • Providing technical guidance to ensure testing is conducted according to requirements
  • Helping solve technical issues and queries across multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on compatibility test facility matters
  • Preparing technical reports, progress reports, and presentations, communicating results and advising recommendations


Job Requirements:


Essential:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering
  • Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
  • Knowledge of compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics


Desirable:

  • Project Management experience would be advantageous
  • Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Chartership


This role will involve regular business travel to Leicester for test activities.
