Senior Mechanical Engineer - North Yorkshire

Your Role:

Take the technical lead on mechanical design projects from concept to production.
Develop innovative engineering solutions for complex subsea applications.
Produce detailed designs, calculations, and documentation to ISO 9001 standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Provide technical support to production, sales, and customer service teams.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

What You'll Bring:

? A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
? At least 3years' experience in mechanical engineering design.
? Strong knowledge of structural analysis, materials science, and power transmission.
? Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS).
? Understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and NDT requirements.
? Ability to solve problems, manage projects, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
