My client is a well-established and rapidly expanding Renewables Company based in Hainault, Essex. Specializing in the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems and battery storage, they serve both domestic and commercial clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Solar Installer / Electrician to join a forward-thinking company that values expertise and excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems and battery storage, ranging from domestic setups to large-scale commercial projects. Your work will ensure that all electrical installations are safe, comply with current regulations, and are completed to the highest standard. The role involves nationwide travel, and on occasion, you will be required to stay overnight to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and positive individual with extensive experience in solar PV installation and electrical work. You take pride in delivering high-quality results and have a proactive, problem-solving attitude. You'll need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all projects meet customer expectations and regulatory standards. An enthusiasm for renewable energy is essential, along with the relevant qualifications, such as an approved 18th Edition Electrician certification and Part P registration. Flexibility to work a range of hours, the ability to work at heights, and access to your own van and tools are also required.

The Person:

Experience in Solar PV installation and battery storage.
18th Edition Electrician and Part P certified.
Problem-solver with a strong work ethic.
Owns a van, tools, and has a full driving license.
Legally able to work in the UK and fit to work at heights.

The Role:

Install and maintain solar PV systems for domestic and commercial clients.
Ensure compliance with safety and electrical regulations.
Complete projects on time and to a high standard.
Nationwide travel, with occasional overnight stays.
Opportunity for management progression and paid training for qualifications.
