We are looking to recruit 3 General Operatives on a temporary basis for 6-months working 41 hours per week on a days shift pattern. You will be based at our Aeroboard Ltd site in Askeaton, Co.Limerick.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Operation of a range of plant and moulding machinery.
- Complete quality inspections and ensure that daily production and quality targets are achieved. Ensure any issues or defects are rectified or immediately reported.
- Maintain your work area in a safe, organised, and clean condition to ensure the maximum safety of the other employees and visitors on-site.
- Cooperate with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards throughout the site.
- Comply with all company policies and initiatives to ensure safe operation and efficient operation of all plant and equipment on site.
Key qualifications, skills, knowledge and attributes:
- 3 years’ experience as a General Operative in a production facility.
- Valid ticket for operating a forklift or experience with SAP an advantage.
- Have a high degree of commitment and must be flexible to work across different shifts.
- Team player with ability to work on their own initiative.
- Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.
- CNC / CAD knowledge / experience would be a distinct advantage.
- A “can do” work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental impacts.
