The Role

We are a multi-award-winning, family owned and run potato growing and crisping business, looking to appoint both full and part-time General Production Operatives to our growing team.

You will be responsible for working on the production line, ensuring the quality of products, packing, and preparing them for distribution. You will need to work efficiently, following all health and safety guidelines. Full training will be given.

Working hours are: Full time - Crisps are rostered for 3 days on 4 days off (Full-time hours over 3 days). Part-Time – Flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on the production lines, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Setting up machines and bagging product.
  • Rejecting out-of-specification product.
  • Ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
  • Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
  • Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
  • Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/ forklift trucks (not all roles).

Please note full training with be provided.
