Production Operatives desired early and late shift opportunities!

Siamo are pleased to work with a fast-growing family company in Malmesburywho are looking to onboard production operatives. We have both Early and late shift opportunities.
You will be working within a supportive, close-knit team who have a friendly working ethic. This role would suit someone with a previous background in warehousing or production work.
Based in the heart of Wiltshire, our client is a world-renowned supplier and manufacturer of their trade.
As a Production operative youll be an integral part of the team. Helping to support with the production line of unique and bespoke products delivering an efficient and high-quality service for customers.

The Role:
  • Malmesbury: Must be able to drive due to rural location
  • Onsite Parking
  • Early shifts: Monday Friday: 6:30am - 15:00pm - £11.50 per hour
  • Late shifts: Monday - Thursday 15:00pm - 00:30am and Friday 15:00pm - 19:00pm - £14.37

As a Production Operative, you will have the following daily duties:
  • Operating a specialist laser cutting machines to manufacture high quality MDF pieces at the required quality and output levels.
  • Following quality monitoring processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards possible and provide feedback to supervisors when required.
  • Monitoring all waste and non-compliant product and record all such occurrences
  • Scanning all jobs onto the ERP system in real time to ensure up to date information on all production processes.
  • Prioritising health and safety in all areas of operation, practicing good care with fire and risk assessments. PPE to be worn whenever required.
  • Undertaking machine maintenance, cleaning, trouble shooting and fault finding, working in conjunction with technical department when required.
  • Displaying excellent levels of teamwork and co-operation when working with colleagues in other departments / other areas of production.
  • Following all required protocols when operating the lasers, such as start-up and shut- down procedures and accurately ID stamping all finished products.
  • Participating in and ensure complete accuracy of periodic stock takes whenever required.

  • Production experience is desirable
  • Must have own transport due to remote area
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are key to the smooth running of the entire operation
