Fairmont Crest are retained to support a global apparel manufacturing organisation headquartered in Sri Lanka who are seeking to recruit a qualified and highly experienced Group CFO, reporting directly to the CEO as a member of the Operational Board. 

This global organisation provides sustainable and ethical supply chain solutions to some of the world’s leading and prestigious apparel brands, while also operating a successful brand licensing division in the UK. The company works closely with customers, from design to delivery, in the Intimate wear, Sportswear and Kids wear product ranges. With 10 manufacturing facilities across four countries and a workforce of over 14,000 across the globe, this organisation is a listed plc on the Columbo Stock Exchange

The company is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Group CFO from the manufacturing sector, ideally from the apparel industry. You will be a technically strong, strategic and qualified CFO with a proven track record in senior financial leadership roles within large, complex manufacturing environments. You will also offer extensive board reporting experience, the proven ability to lead transformative change, drive the corporate governance agenda, with a track record of managing and leading on M&A activities and possess first class people leadership and team building skills.

This role can be based in the UK or Sri Lanka; however, the successful candidate will be required to spend the first few months of their appointment based in Sri Lanka and must be prepared to travel to Sri Lanka on a regular basis as well as to other overseas locations as required. The role will also oversee the financial performance of the Brand Licencing Division which is based in the UK.
