ROLE
As the Group Finance Manager, you will be a key player in the finance team, with responsibility for overseeing the groups financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting across the business. Working closely with the CFO, you will take ownership of group consolidations, lead financial reporting, and support the wider business with financial insights to drive growth and acquisitions. With clear progression to Group Financial Controller, this role offers an excellent opportunity for career development. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the group financial reporting and consolidation process.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Lead and develop a team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Support M&A activity, including financial due diligence and integration of acquisitions.
- Collaborate with the CFO and senior management on key financial projects.
PERSON
The ideal candidate will be an ACA qualified, Big 4 trained professional with strong experience in a complex, international group structure. You will have excellent technical accounting skills, a strategic mindset, and proven people management experience. Key attributes include:
- ACA qualified with a Big 4 background is preferable
- Experience within a PE-backed or fast-growing environment is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of group consolidations and international finance.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A proactive and ambitious approach, with a strong desire for career progression.
OFFER
This is a truly unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking and dynamic business here in the East Midlands. The role will offer c£95,000 - £110,000 + 25% bonus for the right person in addition to:
