We are delighted to partner with a leading educational establishment in Bristol to appoint a Safety and Risk Advisor. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a fantastic organisation and make a positive impact.
This is a hybrid opportunity and will include great benefits on top of your £30,000 - £34,000 salary.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key areas of risk across the organisation (Health and Safety, Free Speech, Financial and Legal)
- Conduct risk assessments, review documentation, build relationships with stakeholders and operate within a highly regulated environment
- Carry out risk assessments for student group activities (Overseas trips, Events, Graduation Ceremonies etc)
- Track student group finances, approve trip registration submissions, communicate with student leaders and approve external speakers
- Develop policies and processes, produce reports and positively engage with students and staff
Experience:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or an equivalent level qualification
- Comfortable working in a student environment and committed to the organisations values
- Meticulous, Passionate and Diligent
- Highly organised with effective communication skills
- Experience in the education, charity, events, not-for-profit or public sectors (desirable)
