£42,000 - £45,200 basic salary + Fully Expensed Company Vehicle + up to £16,000 in overtime + Door to Door Pay

The Role of the Field Service Engineer:

  • Based from home and covering a territory.
  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of filling, sealing, and vacuum packing machines and related equipment in the food production and processing sector.
  • Visiting a range of well-known and prestigious clients.
  • You will encounter electrical and mechanical faults.
  • You will receive in-house manufacturers on the relevant equipment.
  • The role is 50% reactive and 50% Pre Planned Maintenance.
  • Mon - Fri role, working 40 hours per week. Lots of overtime available.
  • 1 in 4 weekends with Friday and Monday off.
  • Note; there will be a need for 2 - 3 nights away from home per week, and an intensive training period in England to start with.

The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer:

  • You will have previously worked as an engineer within the food manufacturing / processing / production sector either as an in-house maintenance engineer or in a field service capacity.
  • Ideally, you will hold an engineering qualification but not essential.
  • Able to fault find and fix mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Willing/able to spend nights away from home.
  • Seeking a role within a fast paced but rewarding environment
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in UK without sponsorship

The Package for the Field Service Engineer:

  • £42,000 - £45,200 basic salary depending on experience
  • £16k typical overtime (Uncapped)
  • Company vehicle, tools and all equipment provided
  • Paid door to door
  • Pension, Mobile, Tablet
  • 20 days holiday plus stats (increasing to 25 with time served)
