Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled S/4HANA International Trade Management (ITM) Consultant to join our team and collaborate with customers in designing and implementing their logistics 3.0 solutions. As part of a broader transformation effort, the role will focus on the integration and optimization of S/4HANA ITM functionality, contributing to end-to-end logistics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in international trade processes and SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer Engagement & Requirement Gathering:
    • Work closely with customers to understand their unique business needs, challenges, and objectives related to international trade.
  • Solution Design & Implementation:
    • Lead the design of the logistics 3.0 solution, with a focus on integrating SAP S/4HANA International Trade Management (ITM) as part of the broader system landscape.
  • SAP Best Practices & Guidance:
    • Provide guidance to customers on SAP best practices, offering advice on how to leverage standard S/4HANA ITM functionalities to drive operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer:
    • Deliver training sessions for customer teams, educating them on S/4HANA ITM functionality, new processes, and key features.
  • Project Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Act as a subject matter expert to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the design, implementation, and post-go-live phases.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Expertise:
    • Ensure all international trade processes in S/4HANA comply with relevant international regulations, such as import/export controls, customs documentation, and trade compliance laws.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA International Trade Management (ITM), especially in areas such as VPC import/export and trade compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of global trade processes, logistics, customs regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in designing, configuring, and implementing end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solutions, specifically in logistics, trade, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead customer workshops and gather business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
  • Ability to provide hands-on configuration support and best practice recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working with SAP S/4HANA logistics and trade modules in a global enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in logistics and international trade management, such as blockchain and automation.
  • Project management experience, particularly in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • Experience with SAP TM (Transportation Management) or SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is a plus.
