Turner Lovell's client is a leading provider of energy infrastructure solutions, specializing in the construction, maintenance, and upgrade of energy networks.
We are seeking a skilled Civil Operative to join our clients team in Cornwall. As a Civil Operative, you will play a crucial role in delivering vital energy infrastructure project. Your responsibilities will include operating heavy machinery, performing manual labor tasks, and adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and rollers.
  • Perform manual labor tasks, including digging trenches, laying pipes, and installing cables.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project objectives.
  • Assist with site preparation and cleanup activities.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Civil Operative or in a related field.
  • Have experience on 132-400kV substation projects in the UK.
  • Valid NG Persons, Safety Passport, and HSG 47 certifications.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
