This is a fantastic opportunity to design commercial menswear and boyswear collections in a vibrant and collaborative environment.
You will be designing outerwear and leisurewear for prominent UK and international brands. They're dedicated to infusing fresh concepts and dynamic aesthetics into their menswear and boyswear lines.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Design engaging outerwear and leisurewear ranges for boys and men.
- Stay ahead of fashion trends, crafting mood boards to inspire designs.
- Prepare comprehensive design and factory packs, along with artwork for sampling.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team, presenting cads and samples to retail buyers.
- Manage the design process from initial samples through to final production.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, including colour palettes and silhouettes.
- Strengthen the company's identity while expanding the product portfolio.
- Deliver products within budget constraints.
- Communicate effectively with overseas factories.
Person Specifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in designing menswear and boyswear.
- Strong background in outerwear and leisurewear, with a solid technical foundation.
- Proven experience designing for men.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with expertise in fabric sourcing and sample work flow management.
- Familiarity with working on sampling projects in China is a plus.
- Commercially savvy, with a keen eye for on-trend designs.
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong CAD and tech pack capabilities.
