My client is an established law firm, looking for an E-Billing Assistant to work alongside the E-Billing Manager, providing billing support across the whole firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build an exciting and rewarding career within Legal Finance. The E-Billing Assistant will be responsible for all activities in the e-billing life cycle, including:

  • Uploading eBills into our eBilling portals/eBilling hub.
  • Ensuring all eBilling queries are dealt with in a promptly, and professional manner.
  • Manage rejections accordingly to ensure timely resubmission.
  • Update third party vendor sites where applicable ie) updating timekeepers and rates.
  • Coordinate accruals, reporting and budgets and submit to client portals.
  • Workload management via eBilling inbox.
  • Ad hoc requests, as and when required.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Knowledge and experience of windows-based packages such as Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Be proficient in using Excel.
  • Have good numeracy skills.
  • Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of computerised billing systems (3E desirable, however not essential as training will be provided).
  • Previous experience in a finance function and/or a legal environment (desirable, however not essential).
  • Experience of E-Billing systems/requirements/processes (desirable, however not essential).
