Your new companyHays are exclusively representing a reputable Communications agency in Belfast to recruit a PR Executive. If you are a graduate looking to commence your career in PR or Communications, this is a fantastic opportunity for you!Your new roleAs a PR Client Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting several client accounts across different sectors and industries
  • Helping with the planning and delivery of client campaigns and programmes and attending client meetings
  • Working with an account management team to create and implement effective PR strategies and activities
  • Coordinating and managing PR photography and media events
  • Planning and attending various events, such as press conferences and product launches
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, journalists and media outlets
  • Monitoring media sources for opportunities and insights for clients and competitors, including online, print, broadcast, social media and blogs.
  • Analysing media coverage and preparing client reports and feedback
  • Researching, writing and executing engaging press releases to relevant media
  • Identifying and capitalising on media and influencer opportunities
  • Creating regular status reports and updates
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment and supporting colleagues at all levels
  • Being adaptable to changing situations and challenges, proactive and flexible
  • Supporting the development of new business proposals and presentations

  • Adaptable, determined, enthusiastic, and able to thrive under pressure. Enthusiasm and the ability to cope well under pressure.

Desirable:

  • A third level qualification, desirable if in CAM, PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline
  • One year's experience in a similar experience within Communications or PR
  • Business awareness and a good knowledge of current affairs
  • Strategic thinking abilities and strong analytical skills.
  • Hold a current & valid full UK driving licence with full access to a vehicle
