Your new companyA well-established and successful M&E Contractor is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their team. With over 50 years of trading, this company has built a strong reputation for delivering projects across various sectors, including Education, Residential, Commercial, and Industrial.Your new roleYou will assist in producing priced tenders for multi-million-pound projects across a variety of sectors. This involves quantifying, measuring, pricing, and labouring the extent of the works from drawings or BoQ, and inputting this information into the estimation system. Additionally, you will maintain good relationships with prospective clients to promote further tender contracts.What you'll need to succeedYou should have at least 3 years of experience as a mechanical estimator with a solid understanding of HVAC installations and systems. Being commercially astute, a strong negotiator, and having excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
