OpenStack specialist NEEDED!
My client is a global leader in open-source observability, monitoring, and dashboarding solutions within Quantitative Finance.
Theyre looking for an experienced and self-starter OpenStack Engineer, to imbed themselves in the firm's most elite squad of DevOps, Infrastructure, and System Engineers, tackling the prioritisation of automation, IaC, and CI/CD tools across the firm on a global scale.
For 12 months, you will be at the heart of designing and deploying a highly scalable and secure cloud platform, enriched by OpenStack, whilst ensuring the efficient deployment of internal workloads across the internal private cloud platform. The key priority is to establish open source tooling across all areas of delivery and deployment across the organisation.
You need to have the following skills:
- Experience in large-scale OpenStack deployments.
- Strong Linux skills.
- Good troubleshooting experience.
- Ideally, good knowledge of at least one automation tools (Ansible, Terraform.. etc)
Required Qualifications:
- 5 Years + Experience with OpenStack.
- Ideally coming from a Computer network background with a Scientific Mindset
- Self-starter who wont require any handholding.
- Attention to detail is a MUST ned someone who can dive into the code to find pain points and/or faults in the system.
