Location: Eccles
Salary: £23,123 - £25,420 per annum (Pro Rata Salary £20,495 £22,531)
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours per Week: 36

Overview:
A dynamic and motivated Sport and Enrichment Instructor is required to join a Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and leading high-quality sport and physical activity enrichment opportunities for students. The role also involves maintaining partnerships with external organisations and overseeing the colleges sports facilities booking system.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead inclusive sport and physical activity enrichment programmes for students.
  • Organise and facilitate recreational activities and assist in practical sessions.
  • Maintain college sports resources and facilities, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Liaise with external partners to offer training opportunities for student athletes.
  • Manage the online booking system for commercial use of the sports facilities, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Support the transport of students to external fixtures and events.
  • Assist with college open days and marketing events.
Requirements:
  • GCSE Level 2 in English and Maths.
  • Level 2 or above qualification in Sport or Leisure.
  • First Aid qualification (desirable).
  • Experience in planning sport and physical activity programmes for young people.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to sport.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage bookings effectively.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • IT proficiency and the ability to use online systems for facility bookings.
  • A full, clean driving licence (Category D1 and/or MIDAS certification is a plus).
