This hands-on role includes design, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting of pressure systems for military aviation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and test electronics cooling systems, including military aviation platforms.
- Lead qualification and system integration activities in both UK and international test facilities.
- Present engineering solutions and investigation reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop skills towards Competent Person - Pressure Systems status.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in industries such as refrigeration, air conditioning, thermal management, or liquid cooling.
- Familiarity with phase change cooling systems, pressure systems, and refrigerants.
- Ability to interpret pressure enthalpy diagrams and perform pressure/leak testing.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills for preparing safety assessments, user manuals, and circuit diagrams.
- Familiarity with UK, European, and international safety legislation (environmental, pressure system safety, REACH).
