We have opportunities for newly qualified General Practitioners (GPs) to join multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) within Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and Federations, providing comprehensive care for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, patient home visits, and manage repeat prescriptions.
- Handle queries, paperwork, reports, and correspondence in a timely manner.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions regarding presenting medical problems, whether self-referred or referred by other healthcare professionals within the organization.
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed issues.
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with practice disease management protocols.
- Recording clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Collecting data for audit purposes and complying with QOF requirements.
- Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
- All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
- Within 2 years of completing the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
- Candidates must be located anywhere in England
Additional Information:
- Salary: £9,000 per 4-hour session (negotiable depending on the number of sessions and experience)
- Days and sessions are negotiable.
