We are a well-established primary school in the heart of Greenwich, seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team for a long-term role covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting primary education and has a solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons across all year groups (EYFS to Year 6).
Support the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons for class teachers.
Assist in creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
Work with small groups and individuals to support their learning and development.
Support classroom management and contribute to a positive learning culture.
Requirements:
Proven experience teaching across all primary year groups.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum.
HLTA qualification or equivalent (Level 4/5).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to supporting teaching and learning.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo a check).
