Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our passionate and driven team based at our client鈥檚 site in Dublin.
OCS is a commercial company providing professional FM Project Management Services including Security, Cleaning, and Aviation Sectors services across Ireland. Our clients range from major retail companies to smaller private and public-sector enterprises; we work as a strategic partner to clients across a wide range of market sectors to deliver the highest standard of facilities management services.

Key Responsibilities:
路 Provide support and guidance on all matters pertaining to health, safety, quality and environmental compliance, to front line operational teams, across all business lines.
路 Assist in the development and implementation of QHSE front line initiatives and activities across all business lines.
路 Carry out regular site QHSE audits and risk assessments and document the findings for management and implement necessary corrective actions.
路 Carry out accident investigations and ensure remedial actions are put in place.
路 To facilitate the implementation, monitoring and review of the Company鈥檚 integrated QHSE management system and assist with the development and implementation of new company QHSE procedures.
路 Advise front line management on health, safety and environmental regulations and directives which affect the company and its employees.
路 Provide QHSE support and advice to client companies where required.
路 Organising and chairing Safety Committee and Safety Rep. Meetings across all business lines.
路 Advising / assisting front line management in drafting and communicating Method Statements.
About You:
Applicants must have the right to work in the ROI
路 Ideal candidate will be diploma/degree qualified in Health & Safety with good knowledge and experience.
路 Working knowledge in Facilities Management, Building Services or related industry, desired but not compulsory.
路 Familiarity with regulatory compliance procedures, publications and an ability to interpret relevant legislation.
路 Proven ability to carry out effective investigations, audits, inspections and compile reports and recommendations as appropriate.
路 Proven ability to apply best practice to prevent / reduce injury claims and carry out and manage incident investigations.
路 High level of communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.
路 Proficiency in the application of Microsoft office suite.
路 Ambitious self-starter with the confidence and drive and take ownership of cross functional processes.
路 Fluent in English.
路 Flexibility required.
路 Full clean driver鈥檚 license
路 Positive, energetic and focused, with good organisational ability
路 Experienced in working autonomously and within teams in fast-paced environment

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing health and safety support and governance to front line operational teams, across multiple business lines and industries. The role will work as part of the QHSE Department and report directly into the Director of QHSE & Compliance.
