Are you an inspiring General Manager with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in managing hotels with extensive meeting, event, and wedding spaces? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead an established, independent hotel in Hampshire.

About Us:
The hotel is a charming and independently-owned property, celebrated for its warm hospitality, exceptional service, and versatile event spaces. With a reputation for hosting weddings, corporate meetings, and bespoke events, they pride themselves on creating memorable guest experiences.

The Role:
As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day management while driving performance across revenue, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. This is a hands-on role where leadership, creativity, and business acumen will shine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize the operations of the hotel, including accommodation, food and beverage, and meeting and event spaces.
  • Lead and inspire a passionate team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve operational excellence.
  • Drive revenue through proactive sales strategies, focusing on the events, meetings, and weddings markets.
  • Maintain and enhance the hotel's reputation through high standards of service and attention to detail.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met and exceeded.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and the local community.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold best practices in all areas of operations.

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong background in managing and marketing event, meeting, and wedding spaces.
