Your new companyHays are working with the Northern Ireland Assembly to recruit for a Temporary Human Resources Supervisor for their Learning and Development Team.

Your new roleMain responsibilities of the Human Resources Supervisor include

  • Co-ordinate learning and development (L&D) activities to include supporting all administrative and delivery of internal learning events;
  • Maintain and provide accurate and timely L&D management information and manage information in line with data protection policies and procedures;
  • Supporting the administration of external learning events including liaising with trainers;
  • Responding to L&D queries;
  • Processing invoices related to L&D;
  • Taking forward actions following training e.g. evaluation/feedback etc.
  • Collate information to inform responses to Assembly Questions, Freedom of Information and Data Protection requests.
  • Administer the L&D software packages and maintain training records.

What you'll need to succeedApplicants must, by the closing date for applications have:1. CIPD Level 3 Diploma in Human Resource Management or Learning and Development (or an equivalent or higher qualification), and at least two years' experience of:a) Working in a L&D role.b) Providing administrative support for a range of L&D services to tight deadlines. c) Using effective verbal and written communication skills to accurately and clearly explain policy and procedures to staff and managers.d) Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both within and outside of your organisation to deliver a quality HR service.e) Effectively using Microsoft Office packages, to include MS Word, Outlook and Excel as well as HR Management Systems to produce accurate and timely management information and prepare HR documents. OR2.At least four years' experience in the areas outlined at points a) to e) above.What you'll get in return

  • £18.05 per hour, equivalent to £34,732
  • East Belfast Location
  • Hybrid working available
  • Immediate start (estimated start date week commencing 10th February)
  • Temporary role until 31/03/25 with possible extension
