A fantastic opportunity has arisen with an international anti-slavery charity for a Programme Finance Lead, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will drive, manage and oversee the outworking of key financial processes at the charity. You will be line managed by the Finance Director but will work closely with in-country finance leads, programme teams, the Development team and wider global teams.

The organisation works on a hybrid working basis and requires you to be in the London office 1-2 days per month (on average).

As Programme Finance Lead, you will:
- Collaborate with country finance leads and the programmes teams with responsibility to develop detailed and well-planned budgets for funding proposals including full cost recovery
- Monitor programme spend against budget, advising programme leads on financial and compliance decisions and producing numeric and narrative financial reporting in various formats
- Project manage, forecast and monitor expenditure for UK programmes
- Be responsible for the financial compliance on restricted grants
- Lead on the project management of the UK audit process

The successful applicant will:
- Have significant demonstrable experience in finance within the charity sector, in a similar role, ideally at an international charity
- Be part or fully qualified (hold a Professional Chartered Accountancy Qualification)
- Have a good understanding of financial processes and governance within a charity
- Be highly numerate with the ability to develop and monitor budgets; analyse, interpret and communicate complex data and financial information
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
