Your new companyIt is a market leader within their industry. They have experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and a fantastic opportunity has arisen within the company for a HR Officer to join their established HR team. This is a maternity cover position for 9 months with the possibility of extension.Your new roleReporting to the HR Manager, as HR Officer, you will work within an established HR team and provide generalist support across business functions in NI, Scotland and ROI. You will be responsible for managing and supporting investigations, disciplinary & grievance case work, delivering corporate induction and HR training, recruitment support (end-to-end process) and providing advice and guidance in all HR related matters, in line with employment legislation and best practice. As HR Officer / HR Administrator, additionally, you will prepare letters and documents for employees, ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate, create and provide HR data analysis and reporting, deliver and co-ordinate internal & external training, support absence management across the group, support performance management initiatives, lead & drive Employee Engagement and Wellbeing initiative across the group.What you'll need to succeedAs HR Officer, it is preferable that you have a degree in Business or Human Resource Management and experience in a similar position, a Full UK driving licence, excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite, excellent accuracy and attention to detail and strong employment law knowledge in NI. CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification is desirable.
