Your new companyHays is pleased to be working exclusively with a local family-owned business to recruit a part-time HR Officer for a newly created role. Your new role

  • Be the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Take the lead on all employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary, conflict resolution and grievances
  • Support, advise and guide managers on employee needs and work collaboratively with them to handle issues with an outcome focused approach
  • Lead and manage all recruitment activities for the organisation. This includes both local and international recruitment campaigns.
  • Keep all personnel files up to date and ensure compliance with local laws and international recruitment requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the company's UK Home Office Tier 1 Visa licence
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on all HR related activities

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in an HR generalist role, with exposure to recruitment and employee relations
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Project management skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
