Are you an experienced and motivated HR professional looking to advance your career in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an on-site HR Officer to join our client on a full time permanent basis. This is an excellent role where you can make a meaningful impact and drive employee engagement and development.

As HR Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives and shaping the future of the site. Reporting to the HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with site teams to align operational needs with effective pay structures, shift patterns, and benefits.
  • Implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and employee engagement.
  • Managing union relationships and collective bargaining while handling grievances effectively.
  • Providing expert HR support for employee issues, ensuring a compliant and responsive HR function.
  • Enhancing communication and engagement initiatives across the site.
  • Driving the development and implementation of HR policies and absence management strategies while maintaining compliance with ethical standards.
  • Ensuring audit readiness and identifying key training opportunities to support business roles.

About You:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a HR Officer in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of NI employment legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and presentation skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • A strong desire to grow and develop your HR expertise further.
