We're seeking a First Line Support Technician to join a thriving Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Gloucester. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support for a variety of IT issues, including software, hardware, and network troubleshooting
- Log, prioritise, and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution
- Diagnose and resolve IT-related problems either in-person or via remote support tools
- Escalate complex issues to second-line support or senior engineers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, and basic networking concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks
- Great communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- A passion for IT and willingness to learn and grow in the industry
