Senior Network and Security Cloud Architect currently required by my well known International client on a fully remote or Hybrid working basis (your choice).
As a Network and Security Cloud Architect my client is looking for someone who can play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing their AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure it meets the very highest standards.
My client are looking for someone with a deep understanding of cloud computing, network design, and security best practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS networking and security services and a proven track record in designing and implementing cloud networks and security infrastructures.
You will be responsible for;
- Leading the design and evolution of my clients cloud network architecture, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
- Developing and maintaining detailed network documentation, diagrams, and standards to ensure consistency and maintainability.
- Optimizing network performance, scalability, and resilience to meet the demands of a growing and complex cloud environment.
- Designing and implementing comprehensive security architectures and controls for our cloud infrastructure complex Gitops processes.
- Designing and implementing secure network connectivity between cloud environments, on-premises data centres, and remote offices.
- Leveraging cloud-native networking services (e.g. VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs) to optimise performance, scalability, and security.
My extremely well known, well respected client is looking for someone who has experience in;
- Network and security architecture, with a focus on AWS cloud.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS networking and security services, including AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Control Tower, AWS Cloud WAN, AWS WAF, AWS Firewall Manager, AWS Route 53, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, and AWS Inspector.
- Terraform for managing and provisioning infrastructure, with a strong focus on integrating infrastructure management and change through DevOps processes to enhance automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Ideally you will hold or have recently held your CISSP, CCNP (Security) AWS Security or other equivalent certifications.
In return for these excellent Cloud Network Security Architecture skills and experience - my client is looking to reward the right candidate with an excellent package and opportunity.
This is to include fully flexible working terms (fully remote or hybrid from any UK office - your choice), a great basic salary of circa £130,000 - 160,000 dep on experience!
