Systems Analyst

We are working with a large public sector client to recruit a Systems Analyst to join their team and assist in the support of the integrated financial management system and ancillary systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Finance systems helpdesk, ensuring issues are resolved and logged with third-party suppliers as required.
• Manage a helpdesk and ensure issues with Finance systems are resolved.
• Develop reports and dashboards.
• Review, analyse, develop, and implement new systems and processes within the Finance Division.
• Test fixes and changes to Finance systems.

Desired criteria

Practical experience within the last three years in two or more of the following areas:

• IT systems support and interfacing.
• Managing a systems helpdesk and dealing with customers.
• Implementing changes as part of a Project Team.
• Identifying new, more efficient ways of working (e.g., process improvement).
• Working in a busy transaction-processing environment using a software package.
