UK Sales Engineer - Automotive

£40k to £45k per annum + Uncapped Bonus + Car

Permanent position with immediate start available working as a UK sales engineer for a company who manufacture test equipment for the automotive sector. They are part of a highly successful global organisation and looking to grow to their sales team. The products they currently supply are always in high in demand and they are prototyping within new sector where the products will be released in 2025.

This is a sales role so you will be responsible for promoting sales for my clients product range. Will be tasked with learning the product, understanding the technical features and the benefits it will bring for customers. You'll be working within a competitive market so will need to quickly understand the market to produce the required results.

Be responsible for being the face of the company in meeting new and existing clients to build relationships and increase sales. Using the CRM system to keep track of potential and existing customers. You will need to be coming from a automotive background with a technical aspect to previous roles. The role will involve winning new business but also upselling to previous customers of my clients.

The role will be covering the UK so you must be happy to be on the road 3 or 4 days a week and at times overnight stays where needed. Driving licence is essential for this position.

The role comes with a bonus scheme which is usually around 20% of your annual salary but it is uncapped so you can earn more. They are based in Buckinghamshire but will consider applicants based anywhere in the UK. Will be a hybrid role but you'll need to be happy to travel to Buckinghamshire when required.

In the role you will be working for a global leader within the automotive sector, my client is part of a company who have sites all over the world and close to 50,000 employees. Working for this market leader who have been going for over 90 years now you will be part of a team who design, manufacture and supply equipment for the automotive sectors. You'll be working within a purpose built facility and within assembly you'll be working on one off assemblies to larger batch production.
