Randstad are currently recruiting on behalf of the Belfast Metropolitan College for a Part Time IT Technician based at the Titanic Quarter campus on a temporary basis.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in IT.
  • English GCSE Grade C or above OR Essential Skills level 2 (or higher) in Communication, or equivalent.
  • Maths GCSE Grade C or above OR Essential Skills level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and making available equipment, material, apparatus and tools
  • Demonstrating techniques as specified by lecturer, tutor or teacher and providing assistance and supervision to staff and apprentices/trainees during practical, theory sessions, exams and assessments
  • Issuing equipment and materials to students in accordance with college procedures
  • monitoring work spaces allocated for self directed study
