Randstad is recruiting a Part Time IT Technician for the Belfast Metropolitan College at the Titanic Quarter campus on a temporary basis.
The position offers a salary of £13.85 per hour for 18 hours per week, with ongoing contracts that may be extended.
Candidates must hold a minimum level 3 qualification in IT and have GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications.
Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting in practical sessions, and monitoring workspaces for self-directed study.
The role requires candidates to undergo enhanced vetting, including an access NI check.

Requirements:

Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in IT.
English GCSE Grade C or above OR Essential Skills level 2 (or higher) in Communication, or equivalent.
Maths GCSE Grade C or above OR Essential Skills level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Preparing and making available equipment, material, apparatus and tools
Demonstrating techniques as specified by lecturer, tutor or teacher and providing assistance and supervision to staff and apprentices/trainees during practical, theory sessions, exams and assessments
Issuing equipment and materials to students in accordance with college procedures
monitoring work spaces allocated for self directed study
