?? Location: Limerick, Ireland?? Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Hybrid Working Available)

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Design Innovation and Technical Team at VPK in Limerick!

About the Role:

As a Technical Development & Manufacture Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing fit-for-purpose structural solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring manufacturing efficiency. You will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and customers to drive product development, enhance supply chain efficiencies, and support profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

? Create and optimise structural designs tailored to customer specifications and manufacturing processes.? Work with the sales team to deliver profitable sales growth.? Support customers with problem-solving and line-side efficiency improvements.? Assist in new business onboarding and project management.? Deliver value engineering solutions to optimise cost and performance.? Use ArtiosCAD to generate designs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs.? Work closely with the operations team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.? Manage the tool order process and liaise with external suppliers to ensure timely production.? Support customer visits and trials to guarantee successful product implementation.

What We’re Looking For:

?? Strong technical and structural design skills, preferably with experience in corrugated packaging.?? Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.?? Ability to interpret technical drawings, artworks, and specifications.?? Knowledge of FEFCO styles, material compositions, and palletisation software.?? Team player with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.?? Experience with ArtiosCAD, Kongsberg hardware/software, SAP, and Microsoft Office.?? Highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced production environment.
