Job Title: Assembly OperativeLocation: Ballymena, County AntrimDuration: Temporary to PermanentPay Rates: £12.15 per hour We are currently recruiting for a number of Assembly Operatives for temporary to permanent positions working for a well-established engineering company based in Ballymena, County Antrim.Our client is looking to expand companywide due to an increased workload throughout the business, we are looking to take on further staff immediately.Key Duties & Responsibilities:* Responsible for the assembly of parts as part of the manufacturing process.* Assembling a variety of materials such as metal, wood, laminate and fibreglass components to the vehicles as part of the production process.* Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and hand tools.* Assembling the product in line with assembly drawings.* Responsible for complying with the H&S, policies and procedures.* Ensuring that work carried out is up to the set company standard and that all quality sign-offs and procedures are complied with.* Must be prepared to work overtime when requested by management.* Undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes including the training of others.Requirements:* Experience using a variety of hand, power and air tools.* Experience working from assembly drawings and instructions is beneficial.* Knowledge of the engineering industry.Working Hours:* Monday to Thursday - 7am to 5pm (38-hour week)* Overtime availableContract:* Temporary to Permanent
