Mechanical Fitter & Assembler Job Opportunity

Location: Manchester

Salary Range: £33,000 to £35,000 per annum

Job Description As a Mechanical Fitter & Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various mechanical components and machinery according to engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to assemble mechanical components.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for assembly tasks.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment.
Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled products meet required standards.
Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.

Skills Required:

Previous experience in mechanical assembly and fitting.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
