Field Service Engineer - Plastic Injection Moulding

Location: Field-based, UK-wide

Salary: £45,000 + Car

The Role: We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a leading global manufacturer in the plastics industry. This role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art machinery, providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on plastic injection moulding machinery.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.

  • Provide technical support and training to customers as required.

  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Represent the company professionally while on customer sites.

About You:

  • Previous experience in servicing, maintaining, or commissioning plastic injection moulding machinery.

  • Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fault-finding skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and travel across the UK with overnight stays when necessary.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

  • Full UK driving license.
