Insurance Broker Motor Insurance About the role

You will provide quotations for New Business and be a referral point for the Trainees. Dealing with clients in the branch, over the phone and via e-mail to ensure sales and retention targets are maximised, through the provision of efficient communication & negotiation skills.

Insurance Broker Motor Insurance Key duties

Provide excellent customer service and efficiently generate new business in a target-driven environment.

Answer and handle phone calls promptly and efficiently.

Calculate premiums according to insurance carrier guidelines.

Understand and follow processes to offer suitable product quotations.

Ensure product information is clear and allows informed customer decisions.

Validate client details (e.g., ID, driving license, claims history) for submission to underwriters.

Manage leads and schedule follow-up calls using CRM software to meet sales targets.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.

Attend client meetings as needed.

Contribute to team goals by identifying gaps and upselling.

Insurance Broker Motor Insurance

Strong communicator, able to explain complex insurance terms clearly to clients and insurers.

In-depth understanding of the UK insurance market, including trends, risks, and regulations.

Motor Trade insurance experience would be a plus

Skilled at assessing diverse client needs, industry risks, and business goals.

Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.

Positive, enthusiastic, and motivating in your approach to work.

Experience in a broking or underwriting environment.

Cert CII qualification is a plus.
