Want to be part of an forward-thinking team that supports key projects through model-based systems engineering?

You'll work with IBM's Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) environment, managing both web-based and thick client tools, ensuring the systems engineering tools are secure, resilient, and perform at the highest standards. This role involves close collaboration with technical support teams, software vendors, and the engineering user community to ensure the continuity of these critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain thick client software applications.
  • Work with internal teams to assess and manage security vulnerabilities, software upgrades, and OS updates.
  • Collaborate with the wider systems engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Liaise between the user community and technical support, growing understanding of toolset functionalities.

Ideally we're looking for the following experience:

  • Experience in IT or systems engineering with focus on thick client software application management, security, and OS updates.
  • Familiarity with managing software upgrades, version control, and security patching.
  • Willingness to explore emerging technologies, including AI and data analytics within a systems engineering context.
  • IBM engineering toolset (Rhapsody, DOORS Classic, IBM ELM).
  • Background in packaging new software and managing security vulnerabilities.
  • Degree in a relevant field, though experience is equally valued.
