Description

Due to continued, controlled growth, our client is seeking to recruit motivated Stores Personnel to join our team. The successful candidate will receive and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stores. They will be responsible for identifying, locating, and issuing materials needed to perform production procedures and other essential duties in maintaining facility operations, becoming a key part of the ongoing success of one of Ireland's leading engineering companies.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR THE STORES PERSONNEL - CAMPSIE INCLUDE AREAS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Receiving and counting stock items, and recording data manually or using company computer systems.
  • Organising materials, equipment and all resources required for each project.
  • Completing necessary documentation and data entry functions into the IFS system.
  • Understanding all store material issues, receiving and shipping procedures to maintain high inventory accuracy.
  • Verifying inventory computations by comparing them to physical stock counts and investigating discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Properly identifying and labeling all stock material locations with a material number, description of material and location designation for readily accessible mean.

Profile

The successful Stores Personnel - Campsie will be able to demonstrate areas including, but not limited to:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Computer literacy
  • Attention to detail
  • Motivated

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Previous experience using ERP / IFS or other Stock Management Systems
  • Previous Experience in planning logistics
  • A recognized Forklift qualification
  • Excellent commercial awareness

Job Offer

The successful Stores Personnel - Campsie will receive:

  • Salary commencing at £11.50 p/h - and rising to £11.94 after 12 weeks
  • Regular overtime at enhanced rates with bonus hours scheme
  • £1000 full attendance bonus (per calender year)
