Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations and help the kitchen manager inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding dishes . As Kitchen supervisor you will help manage menu planning, food preparation and presentation, inventory, and uphold high standards of food safety and quality. Working closely with Kitchen Manager and suppliers you'll ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned Kitchen Assistant looking to step into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations
Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
Plan and develop diverse, high-quality menus
Manage inventory and monitor stock levels
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with suppliers to secure quality ingredients and equipment
Optimize kitchen performance and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar leadership role
Strong leadership and organizational skills
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Education & Experience
Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
Experience in branded chain restaurants, cafés, bistros, or coffee shops

Key Skills
Expertise in menu planning and food preparation
Strong knowledge of COGS and multi-unit kitchen operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and prioritization abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications in food safety and hygiene
Experience in high-volume kitchens
International work experience, ideally in Europe (not essential)
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Working Conditions
The Kitchen Supervisor will work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, requiring extended periods of standing and occasional heavy lifting. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is necessary.
