Job Title: Paint PrepperLocation: Ballymena, County AntrimDuration: Temporary to PermanentPay Rate: £12.86 per hourWe are currently recruiting for a number of Body Preparation Operatives for temporary to permanent roles based in Ballymena.To efficiently prepare all vehicles for the paint process in accordance with company procedures, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to health and safety regulations.

This is a great opportunity to join a quickly growing company in a role with good scope of career progression.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare aluminium panels using an orbital sander.
  • Prepare GRP panels and materials using an orbital sander and various rubbing blocks.
  • Identify and repair small dents in aluminium panels.
  • Identify and repair minor imperfections in GRP products.
  • Mask windows, door apertures, lights, and other components as required.
  • Conduct pre-cleaning of vehicles before transfer into the paint booth.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to meet production takt times and maintain high quality standards.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Adhere to company health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.
