Civil Engineer - Office-Based (Hybrid After Probation) - Oxford

Hours: 08:30 to 17:00

Are you a Civil Engineer looking for a dynamic role within a motivated and collaborative team? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading consultancy that delivers innovative engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer seeking career progression and exposure to a variety of engineering challenges. You'll start with an office-based role, transitioning to a hybrid setup (3 days in-office) after a 3-month probation period. You will work closely with senior management and gain hands-on experience in key aspects of civil engineering design and consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

? Site appraisals, feasibility assessments & pre-planning reports (Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments)
? Drainage & earthworks modelling
? Highways design (S38 / 184 / 278)
? Preparation of detailed design information for tender & construction
? Contract management & client representation

What We're Looking For:

? Minimum 2 years' experience in a civil engineering consultancy
? BSc or BEng qualified (ideally with industry experience)
? Strong written & verbal communication skills
? Commercial awareness & ability to collaborate within a team
