My client, a leading town planning consultancy based in Dublin city centre, is seeking talented and ambitious Town Planners at both Planner and Senior Planner levels to join their growing team. About the Role:

In this role, you will be involved in a diverse range of large-scale housing developments, mixed-use urban regeneration strategies, infrastructure projects, masterplans, and various other development types, including commercial, renewable energy, industrial, and data centre projects. You will also contribute to submissions for statutory Development Plans and Local Area Plans.

Working within one of Ireland's most respected planning consultancies, you will collaborate with both Irish and multinational clients while gaining invaluable experience in a supportive and professional environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and lodgement of planning applications, appeals, and submissions for a range of projects.
  • Contributing to EIAR's and strategic infrastructure development projects.
  • Managing small to medium-sized projects independently.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to meet client objectives and deliver results.
  • Supporting the team on large-scale developments and urban regeneration projects.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • An accredited post-graduate degree from the Irish Planning Institute and/or Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent.
  • Membership of the Irish Planning Institute and/or RTPI.
  • Demonstrable experience in planning applications, appeals, and submissions, with exposure to commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects.
  • Experience contributing to Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR) is desirable.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Commercially astute and results-driven.
