Opportunity to join a fast-paced successful manufacturing business, as their HR Manager, that supplies leading food brands.

As HR Manager reporting to the Head of HR, you'll be joining a fast-paced successful business that supplies leading food brands.

This role offers you the opportunity to work in a business that is going through a period of growth, they have a number of sites in the UK and Europe, so the role requires regular presence in their offices based in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire along with occasional overseas travel (1-3 trips per year).

They have long-standing partnerships with their customers and supply leading retailers, foodservice, and manufacturers in a variety of categories.

Day-to-day you'll lead the HR team to deliver the people and culture agenda along with business initiatives in a safe, ethical, and inclusive workplace. You will lead in line with the broader groups principles to support profitable growth by delivering a comprehensive and business focused service that will be delivered through effective people strategies, policies, and procedures to make the business a great place to work.

The HR Manager champions the culture of the business and is focused on providing great service to all employees and managers and is an active member of the Leadership Team and UK wide HR team.

To qualify for consideration

  • 5 + years' experience leading a HR team in a multi-site HR Manager role at CIPD Chartered Member level
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, experience of change management, and shaping culture to drive performance
  • Experience of performance reporting and headcount budgeting processes
  • Commercial awareness and results driven focus
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and have the hands-on tenacity to drive matters to a successful conclusion
