Are you General Operative within a similar working environment looking for an exciting new role in the chemical waste industry?

The purpose of this role is to support and assist in the liquid treatment recovery of chemicals to ensure process is followed for their life-cycle requirement. You will be responsible for the proper waste treatment and following safety requirements needed at each step.

This company are one of the leading providers of Environmental and Sustainability solutions to a wide range of industries across the UK and Ireland. Primarily centred around Waste Management, they are expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key Ireland UK sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Filter incoming aqueous waste to then be treated and checked and determine what is needed to be re-purposed as part of the full life-cycle system, or incinerated
  • Pumping chemical liquid into the drums, washing these to then be properly checked, adding further chemicals for proper treatment process
  • Perform variety of other site duties if required, such as operating a forklift

What We Are Looking For?

  • Previous experience in a similar manual outdoors work environment or similar
  • Previous experience within a chemical treatment environment would be advantageous
  • Forklift license/certificate is a strong plus but is not a requirement
