About the Role:

This role supports the Operations Manager enabling day-to-day division of key operational management activities to effectively support an important part of our client portfolio. The role, when developed, will act as the empowered delegate for the Operations Manager when required. Fast paced and responsive, the role flexes to support periodic requirements at both client and site level. Providing delegated supervision and support for site operational functions including but not limited to service level objectives, system integration, procurement initiatives, savings targets, value-added service, and inventory management assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile in mindset and approach this role works in tandem with the Operations Manager to ensure delivery in line with contractual commitments and company standards.
  • Focus on day-to-day delivery of an exceptional services experience for our clients.
  • Support monthly business reviews, with the on-site client team.
  • Support RSIS Profitability (P&L) within the territory to which you are assigned.
  • Ensure adherence to all customer inventory, storage and delivery requirements.
  • Guide and support site teams to deliver Gold standard OPEX rating.
  • Ensure all Safety and OSHA requirements are met.
  • Maintain a positive professional relationship with clients and providing timely follow-up.
  • Work with the extended account management team in support of additional business opportunities with current clients and new business opportunities.
  • Provide frequent, open communication with all stakeholders, while proactively assessing operations and elevating issues as needed.
  • Help train existing employees on system, best practices, and other company-wide initiatives, motivating employees to achieve company objectives.
  • Seek process improvement in operations, employees, processes, and technologies continually. Embedding a culture of Continuous improvement
  • Ensure best practices are maintained while utilizing trending analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Skills:

Technical requirements include:

  • Technical - Thorough knowledge of purchasing and inventory management including experience using ERP systems and working with interfaces.
  • Technical - Strong data analysis.
  • Technical - Root cause and corrective action.
  • Technical - Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong skills in Excel / PowerPoint and Word; ability to learn and work with multiple other MS based applications including Sync
