Role: Distribution Sales Specialist - Europe

About the Role
As the Distribution Sales Specialist, you'll be pivotal in managing and growing the company's sales through its European distribution network. Working closely with the European Distribution Manager, you'll have direct responsibility for a portfolio of distributors, ensuring they meet their targets while supporting their development and growth.
What you'll do:
- Lead sales activities for assigned accounts, including pricing, growth targets, and expanding the opportunity pipeline to drive profitability
- Build and strengthen partnerships with distributors and end customers through regular visits and quarterly review sessions
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and seminars to promote the company and its offerings
- Set and track KPIs for distributors, identify gaps and implement corrective action plans to ensure consistent success
- Collaborate with the Head of Global Distribution to analyse performance data, compare it against forecasts and budgets, and highlight areas for improvement
- Assist in evaluating new distribution candidates and ensuring all existing partners align with performance criteria
Ideal experience:
- c2-3+ years of sales/business development, especially if this was within a manufacturing setting and/or working with distributors
- Experience growing business profitability through structured growth plans, negotiation skills, and the ability to marshal resources to support distributors
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a history of building and maintaining strong business relationships
- Analytical and financial insight, with experience tracking performance metrics and driving improvements
- Comfortable with up to 40% European travel, representing the company at events and with key stakeholders
